First Untethered FC100 Flight

The team at Flowcopter were delighted to announce the maiden untethered flight of the FC100 heavy lift drone. This successful flight was conducted as part of our full-scale flight test campaign in Glasgow.

The 400 kg take-off weight drone performed exactly as predicted, enabling our team to validate the Flowcopter simulation model.

This success opens the door to robust, low-cost heavy-lift drones, offering a viable alternative to helicopter operations with a completely new class of aircraft.
